Circular Bioeconomy Arena

Increased circularity is a prerequisite for developing tomorrow’s forest products and services. In the Circular Bioeconomy Arena, stakeholders in Norway and Sweden collaborate to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises by innovating circular products and services within the forest bioeconomy.

The project builds upon previous Interreg Norway-Sweden projects, Bioeconomy Regions, and Bioeconomy Regions in Scandinavia. This time, Paper Province and Norwegian Wood Cluster are the project owners, and we have many excellent collaborative partners in innovation and bioeconomy. The circular forest bioeconomy is naturally a focal point as part of how we aim to guide society through the green transition. The project focuses on timber construction and packaging, working closely with businesses to support small and medium-sized enterprises in realizing their ideas and increasing growth in the region.

Through cross-border collaboration, we aim to develop innovation processes and working methods, as well as understand barriers to cross-border cooperation and the needs of companies in their transition journey.
