Paper Province ongoing innovation competition What wood you do creates interest in Europe and North America. Now we invite more entrepreneurs from all over the world to participate in our call for sustainable innovations!
The global innovation competition What Wood You Do has been running for two weeks and continues until April 27. The competition has generated interest in Denmark, France, USA, Kanada, Finland and Germany.
“All the contributions are available on our competitionsite. There you can be inspired and leave a comment”, says Carina Welin, communicator at Paper Province.
€25,000 in first prize
Everyone with innovative ideas is welcome to submit their contributions. The focus is forest based products and services. It can also be new technology, processes or something beyond our imagination. Let the inspiration flow!
First prize is €25,000 and the opportunity to accelerate you idea in incubator Sting Bioeconomy. Second to fifth prize is €2,500. Our sponsors are Gunnar Sundblad’s research fund, Stora Enso and Sveaskog.
Ends with a Hackathon
As the grand final of the competition, a Hackathon is held where five finalists pitch their idea to a jury of researchers, entrepreneurs and advisors. The Hackathon can be carried out digitally or via an actual event in Karlstad, Sweden. All costs for any travel and accommodation are paid by Paper Province.
