Paper Province - one of 25 "best cases" of Nordic Bioeconomy

We are very proud to announce that Paper Province is one of the 25 cases that are presented in the new catalogue “Nordic Bioeconomy: 25 cases for sustainable change”. Behind the publication stands the Nordic Council of ministers.

To contribute to the development towards bioeconomy the Icelandic Chairmanship Program for the Nordic Council of Ministers initiated a Nordic Bioeconomy Panel, with the aim to make a proposal for a Nordic bioeconomy strategy. The first step to that strategy has now been taken. It was to collect and categorize a catalog of the Nordic bioeconomy – “Nordic bioeconomy – 25 cases for sustainable change”.

The selected cases seek to illustrate the diverse bioeconomy activities in the Nordic countries. The hope of the Nordic Council of Ministers is that the cases will inspire and enhance understanding of the bioeconomy, it´s importance and its potential.

To be one of the “best cases” in this publication an application was necessary. Many applied, but only 25 could be picked. The Council underlines that there were many good examples to choose from, and many more than the 25 who ended up in the catalogue deserve to be shown for the public.

Here you can take part of the catalog “Nordic bioeconomy – 25 cases for sustainable change”

On page 65 you find Paper Province. Or you can read it down here…
